T+ Albino Isopods (Armadillidium vulgare) – Rare Colour Morph Isopods for Pet Keeping & Collections

T+ Albino Armadillidium vulgare is a distinctive and highly desirable colour morph of one of the most established and hardy isopod species. Valued by collectors for its pale, translucent appearance and subtle pinkish tones, this line offers a unique visual variation within a reliable and easy-to-keep species.

These isopods thrive in a stable, well-ventilated enclosure with a clear moisture gradient, allowing them to move between humid and drier areas as needed. Ideal temperatures range from 18–26°C, with moderate humidity and good airflow to maintain healthy conditions and prevent excess dampness.

A naturalistic substrate of soil, coconut fibre, and leaf litter is recommended to provide both nutrition and shelter. Cork bark, hides, and layered organic material will encourage natural behaviours such as burrowing, grazing, and clustering. Like all Armadillidium species, they benefit from consistent access to decaying plant matter, along with occasional calcium and protein supplementation to support growth and successful moulting.
